NAL Research A3LA-DG Iridium Modem
Model A3LA-DG is a satellite modem designed to operate with the Iridium network. It has a built-in GPS receiver. Similar to a standard land-line modem, the A3LA-DG can be controlled by any DTE (data terminal equipment) capable of sending standard AT commands via a serial port. A DTE can be a desktop computer, a laptop computer, a PDA, or even a micro-controller. It has been certified to MIL-STD-810F standards for temperature, humidity, altitude, rain, shock,
sand, dust and salt fog.

The A3LA-DG has been used to provide real-time communications between command/control centers and over-the-horizon platforms including helicopters, fixed wing aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, rockets, high altitude balloons, ships, speed-boats, ground vehicles, and unattended sensors.

The 0011AA package includes: 1 NAL A3LA-DG Satellite Modem with 10-foot Serial
Cable, Omni-Directional Satellite Antennas with 5-foot Cable, and Connectors.
